Explosion Box Photo Album

I decided to try to do the Explosion Box Photo Album and haven't done anything with the Pink Flamigo DSP yet, so I used it. I absolutely love this DSP!!! It is perfect for the beach pictures I put in. This album is going to my sister-in-law. We all went to the beach over Memorial Day week and we took some pictures out on the beach. I thought this DSP and these colors were perfect for the black and white pictures of her family. I am going to do a class on this Explosion Box Photo Album. It holds 20 photos. Thanks for looking!!

Love those stencils!!

I took a class from my upline last night. She demonstrated the new Kind Thoughts Flourish decor stencil. We made an art journal, a coaster and a card. I thought they turned out so well and everything was so easy to make. This stencil is so versatile. I had so much fun that I am going to offer this same class on July 27th. If you want to sign up, just email me at jamieisstampin@yahoo.com !

All bandaged...I mean "packaged" up

Well, I finally finished the baby announcements and have put them in boxes to give out to my cousin. I tied ribbon around the boxes and made a tag for each of them. I thought she could use the ribbon and tags to make scrapbook pages. I'm sorry I haven't posted in a few days, but I fell on Monday and badly sprained my ankle. I've been on crutches since then and have been unable to bear any weight on my ankle at all until today. Just when I was getting into this blogging, I wasn't able to go create or post. I'm doing better now and hopefully will be posting some more work very soon. Keep checking back!!

Welcome Brooks Thomas!!

My cousin is expecting her second baby and her first boy! She has also decided on the name, which I just LOVE! We are all so excited for her. She is an avid stamper and scrapper! It definitely runs in the family. I designed this baby card and decided I would like to give her several to use for baby announcements after he is born. Jasmine, if you are looking at the blog, sorry to ruin your surprise, but I thought it turned out so cute I just had to share. This was made using the Tall Tales DSP and Animal Stories Stamp set, both out of the new catalog.

Brooks, I can't wait to meet you and welcome you to the family myself!!

Fun, Fun Fun!!

Well, I had the best night tonight. Lots of family, friends and of course stampin! What a great combination. I had my monthly stampin club meeting tonight, but also got together with my downline before the regular meeting to work on swaps. We all brainstormed together and came up with some great ideas for cards. I have a picture of two cards we came up with. I am loving the Razzle Dazzle set, which was the inspiration for both of them. I am also loving the new in-colors. The first set uses Crushed Curry, Razzleberry Lemonade DSP, and Melon Mambo. We also added a large white grommet for that extra little something. The second one is a monochromatic using Melon Mambo and the Razzle Dazzle set. It makes a great background paper! Thanks ladies for a great night! You are the best!!

Love Those Trendy Trees

I cased this card from the June issue of Stampin' Success. I just love how they make cards so easy to recreate. I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the trees with the trunks. I haven't used it much, but now that I am, I am loving that thing!! I will be doing this card in my monthly Stampin' Club tomorrow night.

Working with my downline

I made an accordian album in a class given by one of my sideline, Katy. I showed it to one of my downline, and she loved it so much, but wanted to make a more masculine themed one, so we got together tonight and changed it up a bit. We used the Manchester DSP. I think it turned out awesome!

I Give In!

Ok. I have to keep up with my upline and sideline. (For those of you who are not in the Stampin Up! family, that is the awesome friend who recruited me to Stampin Up! and another one of her downline) They both have awesome blogs and I am on them daily. Now feel like I must give this a try. I will be working to start posting samples of my work with Stampin Up! in the next few days, but be patient with me. I'm new to this!!
